SENIOR PASTOR: Rev. Mark & Sun Hardgrove, M.Div., D. Min., Ph.D.

 Pastor Hardgrove graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavior Science from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, received a M.Div. and a D.Min. from the Church of God Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in the Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Pastor Hardgrove is married to Sun Hardgrove and they have three children, Timothy, Candace and Destin. Pastor Hardgrove served his denomination in the state of Kansas as Pastor of the Church of God in Junction City, District Overseer, Ministerial Internship Coordinator, and State Council Member. In 1994 he went to Georgia to serve the Lawrenceville Church of God as Pastor of CE and Evangelism. He served as Senior Pastor of the North Metro International Church of God from June 1996 to December 2000. He was appointed Senior Pastor of the Conyers Church of God December 2000. Dr. Hardgrove currently serves on the North Georgia State Council, is a Pastoral Covenant Group Facilitator, and is the State CIMS Administrator.

C.E. PASTOR: Rev. David Grace, B.A. Lee University
 David is serving as the Distance Learning Center Coordinator of the Conyers Church of God, as well as serving as the Pastor of Christian Education where he recruits and trains teachers, as well as serving as the Family Training Hour Coordinator where he coordinates adult Bible studies and the boys and girls clubs. Rev. Grace is also the Distance Learning Center coordinator for CIMS studies at Conyers. He has previously served as the senior pastor of the Lexington Church of God near Athen, Georgia. Additionally, Rev. Grace coordinates the monthly fellowship meetings for Singles and Young Adults. |
CHILDREN'S MINISTER: Penny Crumbly
Penny is a long-time member of the church who has worked with and been a part of children's church for many years. She brings experience and wisdom to the ministry. She had been trained in numerous seminars and conferences and has been the go-to person when our children's pastors have been on vacation.
MUSIC MINISTER: Rev. Wallace Smith
Wallace has the choir growing. He leads choir in praise and worship as well as powerful choir specials. Under his direction the choir has grown from around a dozen to over 50 members. Under his leadership the choir has recorded two CD's and have sung at various venues as guests at variour churches, the local mall, and the county fair.
YOUTH: Charles and Kim Foster
Charles and Kim are longtime members of the Conyers Church of God where they have been active with the youth for many years. They are the parents of two teens and have demonstrated a true love for, and a commitment to, the spiritual devlopment of the youth at Conyers Church of God. They bring experience and excitment to the youth program and we anticipate that the youth program will be growing exponentially over the next few years.

 Rev. Thaxton has a passion for lost souls. She has a fire for God and for reaching out to the lost in the community. As the Pastor of Evangelism and Outreach she is involved in follow up, visitation, and evangelistic outreach. The name of her ministry is Kinesis.

SENOR ADULT PASTOR: Rev. C. A. & Doris Register, B. A., M.Div.
|
 A graduate of Beulah Heights University and the Church of God Theological Seminary, Rev. C. A. Register brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from years of pastoring, as well as a genuine passion for senior adult ministry. He is leading a dynamic and exciting ministry for our 55 and older adults at the Conyers Church of God.

CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR: Emolyn (Em) Johnson

 Em has been a member of the Conyers Church of God for several years and has served the church in various capacities during the tenure of each of the three pastors in the history of the Conyers Church of God. She is friendly, energetic, and eager to help facilitate the various ministries of the church.

HISPANIC MINISTRY: Rev.Ricardo Medina
Pastor Medina was a leader in the Hispanic ministry at the Lawrenceville Church of God. There the Hispanic ministry grew to over 400 members in five years. We are expecting similar results in the Conyers Church of God! Rev. Medina brings vision, experience and faith to this work.
CROSS-CULTURAL MINISTRY: Lisa Hollis
Coordinates various cultural groups within the church to insure that everyone knows that they are welcomed and appreciated. As a multi-cultural church we invite all races and nationalities to worship with us.
PRAYER WARRIORS: Joyce Burris, Director.
Sister Joyce leads a group of dedicated prayer warriors on Tuesday mornings in the prayer chapel. Their prayers form the foundation upon which this church is being built.
