ONE YEAR BIBLE STUDY
Our goal is for as many of our church family as will join us, to read through the Bible in 2010. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word" (Rom. 10:17), so if you've ever wanted "more faith" this your year. We will be using the reading schedule of The One Year Bible, which is available in various translations at Lifeway Bookstores. Also, we printed a reading schedule that is available in the foyer. The Sunday sermons will correspond to the Sunday New Testament readings, and there will be an elective small group on Wednesday nights for those who want to join Dr. Hardgrove in a study of the Old Testament readings.
FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
The Dave Ramsey program of personal financial freedom will begin Sunday night, January 17th at 6 pm in the Sanctuary. Pastor David Grace and Ted Crumbly will be leading this program. So if you are looking for financial freedom in your life, this is one program you need to get plugged in to.
JOB WORKSHOP
There will be job workshop at the Conyers Church of God on January 16th, 2010 from 10 am- 12 pm. Anyone seeking a job, or seeking a better job is invited to attend. The topics will be: resume preparation, general tips for job search, and other relevant topics.
Staff Member of the Month
Our Staff Member of the Month is Anastasiya Gazhenko. Anastasiya is the youth minister. She has been active in organizing and supervising many youth activities, including youth lock-ins, Jesus JAM youth retreat, various youth community outreaches and weekly Wednesday night youth services. We are blessed to have Anastasiya on the staff to work with our youth. If you would like to contribute toward a gift of appreciation simply write "Ana" on the bottom line of the tithe envelope.

MEMBERSHIP CLASS
If you would like to become a member of the Conyers Church of God then join the membership class taught by Rev. Danny McLeod. There are currently 8 students and there's room for you as well if you desire to become a member. The class is held each Sunday at 10:00 am in the Conference Room.
SENIOR ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
Join Sister Burris and the senior adults for Sunday School each Sunday. They are currently using the Church of God Sunday School curriculum for Bible study.
DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
The Discipleship class meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 am in the Prayer Room. If you are presently taking the New Members class, we give you a special invitation to begin the discipleship course as soon as you are finished. The study we are using is Jesus Walk, which covers our "Declaration of Faith." You can begin on any Sunday and still finish the course. The class is open to anyone who would like to learn more about discipleship. The first lesson begins Sunday, January 3, 2010.
